Services

The Records Clerks for the Ceres Police Department are the initial point of contact when you enter the lobby of the Police Department and are available to help you with the following services:

  • Accident Reports
  • Live Scan/Fingerprinting - By Appointment Only
    • Please call 209-538-5714 for an appointment
    • Due to COVID-19, our Live Scan Services have been suspended
    • Note: There will be a $20.00 administrative fee added to any fees charged to the DOJ.  Cash or check are accepted.
  • Police Reports
  • Payment of Parking and Administrative Citations
  • Parking and Administrative Citation Appeals
  • Police Records
  • Public Records Act Requests
  • Vehicle Releases
  • Repossession Receipts
  • Drop Charges Requests

Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Closed for all major holidays.

  • Please call 538-5714 for an appointment for any of the services listed above.
  • When you enter the Lobby, you and any adult with you will be required to complete a COVID-19 questionnaire.
  • Masks are required for anyone entering the lobby over the age of two (2).

Parking Citations

To Pay a Parking Citation:

Bring a check or money order to the Ceres Police Department Records Department

Mail your check or money order and Citation to:  

  • Parking Enforcement Center, City of Ceres, PO Box 3214, Milwaukee, WI, 53201

To Appeal a Parking Citation:

  • Come to the Ceres Police Department Records Department.    
  • Request a "Parking Citation Initial Review" Form.                   
  • Submit the completed form to the Records Personnel.               
  • Appeal will be reviewed.                                                              
  • A Determination letter will be mailed to you.                                
  • There is no cost to appeal a Parking Citation.

Administrative Citations

To Pay an Administrative Citation:

NOTE: Administrative Citations must be paid within 60 days of the date of issuance to prevent being sent to collections.

Within 60 days of issuance: Bring a cash, check or money order to the Ceres Police Department Records Department.

OR Take your citation and payment to the City of Ceres Utility Department:  2220 Magnolia, Ceres.

60 days or more after issuance: You can only pay your citation by going to the City of Ceres Utility Department: 2220 Magnolia, Ceres.

To Appeal an Administrative Citation:

NOTE: Administrative Citation Appeals must be filed within 30 days of the date of issuance to be considered for review.

  • Come to the Ceres Police Department Records Department. 
  • Request a "Administrative Citation Appeal" Form.                      
  • Submit the completed form to the City of Ceres Utilities Department at 2220 Magnolia, Ceres, along with the required fee (see back of appeal form for current fee).               
  • A Hearing will be scheduled.                                                     
  • You will be notified by mail of the Hearing date, time and location.
  • You will be notified by mail of the disposition of your appeal.

The Records Department is overseen by our Special Operations Lieutenant Chris Perry and supervised by Administrative Sergeant Greg Yotsuya. Currently we have four full-time Records Clerks, three of whom are fluent in Spanish.
