The City of Ceres maintains eleven parks for public use. As can be seen on the Park & Facility Map, these parks are distributed throughout the City for the enjoyment of our citizens.

Smyrna Park

Smyrna Park is Ceres' second largest park with 28 acres. Smyrna Park was named after the Smyrna Fig, a type of fig that grows in the area. The park is located at Moffet and Fowler Roads in Ceres. The park facilities include: a large covered picnic shelter and three (3) smaller picnic areas. All of the picnic areas have barbeques. The park features a playground, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, and a four-field softball complex. Reservations are taken for the covered picnic area, as well as the three (3) smaller picnic areas, the horseshoe pits and the softball fields. All other areas are on a first come, first serve basis.

Roeding Heights Park
Roeding Heights Park is located on Rose Avenue at Standford. A covered picnic area is available for reservations. Other features include: barbeque pits, a playground, tennis courts, basketball facilities, and a baseball backstop.

Whitmore Park
Whitmore Park is located in downtown Ceres, on North and Third Streets. A gazebo and picnic area are available for rent. Other features include: a dance slab, barbeque pits, a rose garden, and a War Memorial honoring Ceres residents lost in WWI, WWII, the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

River Bluff Regional Park
is located on Hatch Road at Ceres River Bluff Regional Park. The covered picnic area has 15 tables is available for reservations. Other features include: 1 large barbeque pit, a playground, 4 soccer fields, concession stand.

Berry Grove Park
Calcagno Street at Linden Drive. Picnic facilities and play equipment.
Don Pedro Park Blaker Road at Walnut Avenue. Picnic facilities, play equipment, adult fitness area.
Independence Park Paramount Avenue and Belmont Avenue. Picnic facilities, play equipment.
Persephone Park Lunar Drive at Lindsay Way. Picnic facilities and play equipment.
Redwood Park Tenth Street at Veda Drive. Picnic facilities and play equipment.
Riverview Park Riverpark Drive and Canyon Drive. Picnic facilities and play equipment.
Strawberry Fields Park Hackett Road at Morgan Road. Picnic facilities and play equipment.
Neel Park Boothe Road & Helen Perry Road. No Amenities.
Sam Ryno Park Brown Avenue at Stone Spring Drive. No Amenities.
