West Landing Specific Plan (formerly West Ceres Specific Plan)

Information and documents relating to the Draft West Landing Specific Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) are available. The public is welcome to review and provide comment on both DRAFTs of the West Landing Specific Plan and Environmental Impact Report. This planning effort, encompasses approximately 960 acres of developed, underdeveloped and agricultural land to the west of the current city limits, bounded by Whitmore Avenue to the north, Service Road to the south, Ustick Road to the west and the Union Pacific rail line to the east. The plan will propose a mix of residential, retail, office, and industrial uses for the ultimate development of this area.

The public review and comment period for the DRAFT West Landing Specific Plan and DRAFT EIR begins on August 18, 2010 and closes at 5:00 p.m. on October 4, 2010.

Following the close of the comment period and preparation of a Final EIR, the City will schedule public hearings before the Planning Commission and City Council to consider this matter.
