Mandatory Recycling

State law now requires that all businesses that generate four (4) cubic yards or more of waste per week and all apartment communities/multi-family housing complexes with five (5) or more units MUST Recycle. The regulations take into effect on July 1, 2012.
Businesses that meet the threshold must arrange for recycling services. A letter is going out to the businesses and apartment complexes in Ceres explaining the requirements along with a questionnaire and a recycling poster.
Click here for a copy of the informational letter. Click here for a copy of the recycling poster that may be duplicated.

If you already have a recycling program in place, let the City know by completing the questionnaire. Click here for a copy of the questionnaire that you may print, fill-out and mail to the City of Ceres, Engineering Services Department, 2220 Magnolia Street, Ceres, CA 95307.
Alternatively, you may click here to fill out the questionnaire and submit on-line.
To sign-up for recycling services contact Kay Dunkel, City of Ceres, Engineering Services Department, by phone (209) 538-5790, or email:
