                                                          SENIOR ACTIVITIES

Bunco: Ages 55+

As it is played today, Bunco is a social dice game involving 100% luck and no skill (there are no decisions to be made), scoring and a simple set of rules. Bunco will meet Tuesday and Thursday at 2:00pm in the Senior Lounge.  12 player minimum, snacks provided, and the $5 per player fee goes into the winners pot.

Bingo: Ages 55+

Bingo is a game of chance in which each player matches numbers printed in different arrangements on 5×5 cards with the numbers the game host (caller) draws at random, marking the selected numbers with tiles. When a player finds the selected numbers are arranged on their card in a row, they call out "Bingo!" to alert all participants to a winning card. Players compete against one another to be the first to have a winning arrangement for the prize or jackpot. After a winner is declared, the players clear their number cards of the tiles and the game host begins a new round of play. Bingo will meet Mondays at 2:00pm in the Senior Lounge. 12 player minimum, snacks provided, and the $1 per player fee goes into the winners pot.

Lotería: Ages 55+

Loteria is a game of chance, similar to bingo, but using images on a deck of cards instead of plain numbers on ping pong balls. Every image has a name and an assigned number, but the number is usually ignored. Each player has at least one tabla, a board with a randomly created 4 x 4 grid of pictures with their corresponding name and number. Players choose what tabla they want to play with, from a variety of previously created tablas. Each one presents a different selection of images. Loteria will meet Wednesdays at 2:00pm in the Senior Lounge. 12 player minimum, snacks provided, and the $1 per player fee goes into the winners pot.

Creative Fridays: Ages 55+
