COVID-19 Updates - Programs & Rentals

Dear Ceres Parks & Recreation Community:

As a City Parks & Recreation Department, we are guided by our people-first mission of inspiring better lives through park and recreation services and programs.  We believe that in uncertain times like these with the COVID-19, we must take care of our community, guests, volunteers, and staff.

As a City, we are committed to bringing joy, fun and memories through our parks and recreation services and programs. As we stand together to navigate through this challenging time one day at a time, we wanted to reach out to you and provide an update on the actions the City of Ceres has taken to support the health and well-being of all of us.

Class/Programs

Recreation Department is cancelling classes, camps, and programs that take place for Summer 2020 except Online/Virtual Classes.

Fall class registration begins Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 8:30am online.  

Indoor Facility Rentals

If you have a scheduled event or banquet before September 30, 2020 please email the Rentals Staff. Staff will work with you on what best fits your current needs of your event or banquet.

Picnic Area Rentals

If you have a scheduled a rental before Sunday, September 27, 2020, Recreation Department staff should have contacted you.  If you have not heard from our staff, please email the Recreation Department.

Athletic Fields

All athletic fields are closed until September 15, 2020.  If you have any questions, please email the Recreation Department.

Park Playground & Equipment

Are closed until Sunday, August 30, 2020.
