Cancellation/Transfer Requests

Cancellation Policies and Procedures

Park Reservations:

  • If cancelled 3-12 Months in advance - 25% of reservation fee is kept.
  • If cancelled 1-3 Months in advance - 50% of reservation fee is kept.
  • If cancelled LESS than 30 days in advance - 100% of reservation fee is kept. (You will NOT be refunded without Manager approval)

Indoor Facility Rentals:

  • If cancelled 12-6 months in advance - 10% of the Deposit is kept.
  • If cancelled 6-3 months in advance - 25% of the Deposit is kept.
  • If canceled 3-1 month(s) in advance - 50% of the Deposit is kept.
  • If cancelled LESS than 30 days in advance - 100% of Deposit is kept. (You will not get your Deposit back without a Manager approval)

Class/Program Registrations

  • If the City cancels the class, participants will receive full refund of the fee.
  • If participant is requesting to drop a class or program for a refund: The request MUST be submitted before the second-class meeting date, to receive a full refund of the class/program fee. Any requests submitted after the second-class meeting date, must be approved by the Recreation Manager or Supervisor.
  • Transferring registration is an option if it is for the same class/program to a different month. In some cases you can transfer participants also.

Refund Processing

 
  • CHECK Refunds - can take 6-8 week to process and get the check cut.
  • CREDIT CARD Refunds - are usually processed within 5-7 business days. Some exceptions may cause this to take longer.
  • We do our best to ensure ALL refunds are processed in a timely manner, so please allow these times before contacting us regarding this matter.

  1. Please select the date of your park reservation, facility rental, or class start date, and Time.

  2. This is the name of the person who is the main account holder.

  3. Only enter an email address that we may communicate with you about this matter.

  4. This is the address on the account.

  5. Please only leave a number you are okay with us leaving a message on regarding this matter.

  6. If you booked a park or indoor facility reservation you will have a permit #. You can find this on your receipt/permit you were given or emailed on the date you booked your reservation. 

    If you registered for a class/program you will have a class #. You can find this on the receipt you were given or emailed on the day you registered.

  7. Briefly tell us why you want to cancel, reschedule, or transfer. 

  8. This field is only for Class or Program requests. We need to know who is actually registered.
