Arbor Day Celebration

The City of Ceres has been recognized for the past 17 years as a "Tree City USA". In order to maintain this distinction, the City of Ceres chooses a school to host our annual Arbor Day event. The children from the school participate in a poster contest celebrating the benefits of trees. The entire school is invited to the assembly with the Mayor acting as MC. Prizes are awarded, trees are planted and refreshments are provided.
