*Up to two (2) children age 5 or younger may ride free when accompanied by a fare-paying passenger 16 years old or older. Additional young children must pay the general fare. Children less than 7 years old may not ride by themselves. **Seniors (age 65 or older)/and persons with disabilities may apply for a Ceres Transit discount card through the mail. To request an application form, call 527-4991 or download an application form here. Completed applications need to be mailed to Storer Transit Systems, 1216 Doker Drive, Modesto, CA 95351. Once approved, a senior/persons with disability discount card will be mailed to the residence.

10-Ride Cruising Passes (valid only on Ceres DAR)

General Fare	$21.50 for a 10-Ride Pass
Seniors/Persons with Disabilities and Medicare Card Holders	$15.00 for a 10-Ride Pass

Cruising Passes can be purchased from the bus driver with cash only, at Ceres City Hall, or through the mail. If by mail, make a check or money order payable to the City of Ceres, and send to City of Ceres Finance Department, Attention: Ceres Transit Bus Passes, 2720 Second Street, Ceres, CA 95307. Riders and agencies may call the Finance Department ahead of time, (209) 538-5767, to pick up passes. Payment is due at the time the passes are picked up. No payments will be taken over the phone.

Transfers

Transfers to MAX, Modesto Area Dial-A-Ride & StaRT for 25 cents. Notify the MAX driver if you want to transfer to Ceres Dial-A-Ride. Transfers are allowed only at transfer points on the map. If a rider wants to transfer between Ceres Dial-A-Ride and Modesto Area Dial-A-Ride, the rider must call Modesto Area Dial-A-Ride at 527-4900 first, and Modesto Area Dial-A-Ride will make the arrangements for the rides and transfers. If a rider is on MAX and needs to transfer to Ceres Dial-A-Ride, the rider needs to notify the MAX driver. The driver will notify MAX dispatch and arrange for a Ceres Dial-A-Ride bus.
