Provides local & Commuter Express service within the City of Modesto and the unincorporated communities of Salida and Empire. - Modesto Area Dial-A-Ride
In addition to MAX, the City of Modesto provides Dial-A-Ride service within the City of Modesto and the unincorporated communities of Salida and Empire. Service is available to seniors (age 65 years old or older) and persons with disabilities. The general public may ride during restricted hours. Ceres Transit meets Modesto Area Dial-A-Ride at Herndon Avenue @ Hatch Road and Community Services Agency. You must call (209) 527-4900 to make a Dial-A-Ride reservation or to receive certification information.
- Stanislaus Regional Transit (StaRT)
Provides intercity fixed route; deviated fixed route called Runabout, shuttles, general public dial-a-ride and Medivan within Stanislaus County. You can also call (800) 262-1516 for times and locations regarding StaRT services.
- Ceres Transit meets StaRT Route 15 and Turlock/Modesto Shuttle at Herndon Avenue @ Hatch Road and Magnolia Street at Third Street within Ceres.
