FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

NO COST COVID OVER THE COUNTER COVID- 19 ANTIGEN RAPID TEST KITS

CERES, CA – The City of Ceres is going to distribute 700 free COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test Kits (1 test per kit) courtesy of Stanislaus County Health Services Agency - Public Health Division.

The kits will be distributed first-come, first-served, while the supply lasts to Stanislaus County residents, limit of 3 per household. Please bring proof of residency. Pick up at the Ceres Community Center (front counter) 2701 4th St, Ceres, CA 95307, Monday – Friday from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm while supplies last.

Over the counter COVID-19 testing allows individuals to conveniently learn their COVID-19 status. This testing may allow people to learn that they have COVID-19 earlier in their infectious period and isolate at home, reducing the spread of COVID-19. It may also allow people to more easily learn their status before traveling, attending family gatherings or community events.

Thank you to the Stanislaus County Health Services Agency’s Public Health Department, in partnership with California Department of Public Health for making these kits available to localities.
