Yes. In fact, we encourage you to do so. You may apply using the CalOpps website. Please apply as soon as you see an opening you are interested in. On some recruitments, a limit is set for how many applications we will accept. You may be unable to apply online once the limit has been met.
No, we only accept applications and/or resumes for positions with open/active recruitments.
Yes, you can apply for any position you feel qualified to do. Just because you were not the best fit for a prior position, it does not mean you are not the perfect candidate for another position.
Your job offer with the City of Ceres will be conditioned on successfully passing the post-offer, drug screen and finger print check. You also may be required to undergo a background check, take a post-offer, pre-employment physical exam and/or a functional test to determine your physical ability to do the job's essential duties. Our Public Safety and Emergency Services employees are also required to have a psychological evaluation and for some positions a polygraph.
