Water and Conservation Division
About the Division
State Certified Water Distribution and Water Treatment Operators are responsible for the day to day operation, maintenance, and repair of the City's water system. Operation of two above ground water storage tanks that hold 3.8 million gallons of water combined. The water division maintains 13 active wells located throughout the City; two of these wells are currently being treated for Uranium and Arsenic and four for TCP. As well as maintains the following programs; backflow/cross connection control, routing flushing, valve exercising, water conservation, water meters, water quality monitoring, sampling, water system repair, maintenance and pumping stations.
