Solid Waste & Recycling Programs

Don't Forget to Recycle!

Mandatory Recycling

State law now requires that all businesses that generate four (4) cubic yards or more of waste per week and all apartment communities/multi-family housing complexes with five (5) or more units to recycle.

Businesses that meet the threshold must arrange for recycling services. To learn more, view our Recycling Brochure (PDF).This form may be duplicated for educational purposes.

Mandatory Organic Recycling

Per AB 1826, as of January 1, 2017, businesses that generate four (4) cubic yards or more of organic waste per week shall arrange for organic waste recycling services. The City will contact businesses to assist in meeting the new State requirement.

To sign-up now for commercial or organic recycling services or if you have any questions regarding City solid waste service, contact Rosemary Martinez at 209-538-5792 or by email.
