The Ceres Police Department’s Property and Evidence Room is responsible for seized property and all items that are collected as evidence. When property is collected or turned in, the item is inventoried and categorized using a bar-code system. Once it is inventoried, the item is secured and tracked until such time it is needed for court, returned to the rightful owner, or destroyed. Currently, the Property and Evidence Room is overseen by Special Operations Lieutenant Chris Perry and run by Community Service Officer, Renee Howerton and PT employee Trish Panos.
Property, when eligible, is released by appointment only. To schedule an appointment to pick up your property, please call the Property and Evidence Room at 209-538-5744.
