Attend Council Meetings via Zoom

In response to Executive Order N-29-20, the City of Ceres will no longer offer an in-person meeting location for the public to attend. This meetings will be held through Zoom.  You can join the Council Meetings through Zoom.  Comments will be accepted through Zoom. The City is not responsible for any interrupted service. To ensure the City Council receives your comments, submit written comments to the City Clerk at cityclerk@ci.ceres.ca.us prior to the meeting.

Meeting Access Information through Zoom is posted on the top of the each Council agenda. 

We have prepared a Zoom Instruction Guide to help assist you with participating in our Council Meetings. 

If you don’t have access to internet, please contact the City Clerk at 209-538-5731 by 3:00 p.m. the day of the meeting to learn about additional options for remote participation.

There are a number of meetings and gatherings being postponed or cancelled due to the Coronavirus. At this point, we are continuing to hold City Council meetings so we can conduct essential business, but we also want to respond to health concerns that encourage social distancing. In an effort to provide remote community participation for our City Council meetings, we are hosting our meeting through Zoom. Our goal is for you to be able to watch and participate in the meeting from your home without needing to attend in-person.

There will be the opportunity for public comment during the meeting for each agenda item under Public Comment/Public Hearing section and will be read before the Council takes action on the item. The Public may also participate by emailing the City Clerk at cityclerk@ci.ceres.ca.us during the Public Comment/Public Hearing section of each item when the Mayor opens the matter for Public Comment/Public Hearing section.

If you experience an issue with during the live meeting, you can still submit your comments to the City Clerk by email. 

PLEASE NOTE: To ensure the City Council receives your comments, you may still submit written comments to the City Clerk prior to the meeting. Comments submitted in advance of the meeting will be provided to the City Council and be published to the website in advance of the meeting.
