1. What do I do if online reporting is not right for me?

If your incident is an emergency, please call 911.  I non-emergency, call 209-538-5712 to speak to one of our dispatchers.  You can also come into the Police Department and file a report in person.

2. What if the incident I want to report happened in another city? Can I file a report using the Ceres PD online reporting?

No. If a crime took place outside of the City of Ceres jurisdiction, please call the Police Department for that City.

3. What if the incident I want to report happened on a State freeway?

Please call the Highway Patrol Office nearest you.

4. What do you mean by "known" suspect?

A known suspect is when you or someone else knows the person or where to find the person who committed the crime or if you know the license plate number of the vehicle the suspect (s) were in.
